Remote Software Developer - Europe / South America
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Remote Software Developer based in Europe or South America / Latin America to help us build, improve, and maintain modern web applications.
This role is a good fit for someone who is comfortable working independently, communicates clearly, writes clean code, and can take ownership of tasks from start to finish. We are open to part-time, contract, or long-term collaboration depending on experience and availability.
About the Role
You will work on web application development across the frontend and backend. The ideal developer has strong experience building production-ready applications, integrating APIs, working with databases, and collaborating in a remote environment.
You should be able to understand requirements, ask good questions, propose practical solutions, and deliver high-quality work without needing constant supervision.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
Building and maintaining frontend features using modern JavaScript frameworks
Developing backend APIs and services
Integrating third-party APIs and external services
Working with databases and writing efficient queries
Fixing bugs, improving performance, and refactoring existing code
Participating in code reviews and technical discussions
Writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
Communicating progress clearly and regularly
Helping improve application architecture, reliability, and scalability
Working with Git-based workflows, pull requests, and issue tracking tools
Required Skills
The ideal candidate should have experience with several of the following:
Frontend: React, Next.js, Vue.js, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
Backend: Node.js, Python, Ruby on Rails, PHP, Java, or .NET
Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, SQL Server, or similar
APIs: REST APIs, GraphQL, third-party integrations
Cloud / DevOps: AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, CI/CD, GitHub Actions
Version Control: Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket
General: debugging, performance optimization, clean architecture, testing
You do not need to know every technology listed, but you should be strong in at least one modern frontend framework and one backend stack.
Nice to Have
Experience with any of the following is a plus:
AI / LLM integrations such as OpenAI API, LangChain, RAG, or chatbots
E-commerce platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, or custom marketplaces
CMS platforms such as WordPress, Webflow, HubSpot, or Strapi
SaaS product development
Payment integrations such as Stripe, PayPal, or subscription billing
Mobile development with React Native or Flutter
Automated testing with Jest, Cypress, Playwright, PyTest, or similar
Experience working with US-based clients or teams

Because we work remotely, timezone overlap is important.

Europe: Poland, Ukraine, Romania, Portugal, Spain, Serbia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Bulgaria
South America / LATAM: Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Uruguay, Mexico, Peru
We prefer at least 3–5 hours of daily overlap with U.S. time zones, but we are flexible for the right candidate.
