This is a high visibility role partnering closely with senior finance leadership, with ownership of key workstreams and the chance to broaden scope as the platform grows.
What you will own
- Oversight of Canadian tax compliance, coordinating with external advisors to ensure timely, accurate filings
- Review and support around investor tax deliverables and tax reporting items tied into the monthly close
- Exposure to U.S. tax structures as company grows
- Process and control improvements as the finance platform scales
- Cross functional partnering across finance and related teams
What they are looking for
- Around 4+ years of experience in tax, audit, accounting, or related roles
- Strong Canadian corporate tax foundation
- Big 4 background is helpful, but not required
- Proactive, detail oriented, and excited by growth and ownership
