PartPassport

PartPassport creates and checks data books for castings and forgings.

Suppliers spend hours compiling manufacturer’s data books, buyers spend hours reviewing them, and payment is often held until the documentation is approved.

PartPassport starts at the PO, not at the end. It reads the PO, certificates and test reports, checks every value with plain code against limits your company enters from its own licensed standards, and assembles the data book in your customer’s index order. Every value is linked to the page it came from. A person reviews every finding and signs. The result is a signed verification report with a QR check, plus a bookmarked data book ready for the buyer.

How it works:

The model reads, code decides. No evidence, no pass. Every value has an address: document, page, box. Unknown means stop. The tool never approves. A person signs.

What it does not do: it never calls its report a 3.1 or 3.2 certificate, it never extracts prices or commercial terms from a PO, and it does not claim to detect forged documents. When paper can’t settle a question, it tells you when to run PMI or hardness checks instead.

Tested first on a several trusted foundries. Now in private beta, looking for foundries, forges, machine shops, and the buyers who create/receive their data books.
