We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Accounting Assistant to join our Finance team in Langley, BC.
Reporting to the Manager, Finance, you will be responsible for supporting key treasury, accounts receivable, and payroll functions that help ensure the accuracy, integrity, and efficient flow of financial operations across the organization. In this role, you will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve issues, maintain financial records, and contribute to continuous process improvements in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
You will be responsible for:
- Managing accounts receivable activities, including corporate billing, invoicing, credit memos, cash applications, and collections.
- Completing daily banking reviews, account reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting month-end accounting processes.
- Investigating and resolving billing discrepancies while partnering with internal stakeholders and external customers.
- Supporting payroll administration, including employee updates, timecard auditing, payroll adjustments, and responding to employee inquiries.
- Leveraging Excel and reporting tools to improve processes, maintain data integrity, and support audit requirements.
You have:
- 1-2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a retail or high-volume environment.
- Completed, or are currently working toward, a recognized accounting diploma, or have an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Experience supporting payroll administration, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting is considered an asset.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.

Compensation Details:
$45,356.00 - $56,695.00
The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience and other factors.
