Digital Production Operator
PCL Graphics | Markham, Ontario
PCL Graphics is looking for a reliable, organized Digital Production Operator to support a growing area of our manufacturing operation.
This is a hands-on production role operating a group of automated digital fabrication machines. The equipment is straightforward to operate, and extensive technical experience is not required. We are looking for someone who is comfortable around technology, can follow established production procedures, and is disciplined about keeping multiple jobs organized at the same time.
What You’ll Do
Operate multiple automated production machines simultaneously
Load prepared production files and initiate jobs
Remove completed parts and prepare machines for the next production cycle
Clean and maintain production surfaces between runs
Perform basic equipment checks and troubleshooting
Monitor machines throughout the shift and identify failed or incomplete jobs
Organize completed parts by job, quantity, and production order
Keep accurate records of what has been produced and what remains outstanding
Maintain a clean and organized production area
Follow established production schedules and priorities
Communicate any equipment or quality issues to the production team
What We’re Looking For
You do not need to be an engineer or an experienced technician.
The right person will be:
Comfortable working with computers and digital equipment
Mechanically inclined and comfortable performing simple adjustments
Highly organized
Reliable and punctual
Able to manage repetitive production tasks without losing attention to detail
Comfortable monitoring several machines at once
Able to follow written production instructions accurately
Able to work independently once trained
Focused on quality and consistency
Experience in manufacturing, digital printing, CNC, 3D printing, fabrication, machine operation, or another production environment is helpful, but not required.
Basic familiarity with additive manufacturing or desktop 3D printing would be considered an asset.
About the Role
Most of the technical preparation is completed before production reaches this position. Your job is primarily to keep production moving efficiently: start jobs, monitor equipment, remove completed parts, clean and reset equipment, organize finished components, and begin the next production cycle.
This is a good opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, technology, and a structured production environment without requiring advanced programming or engineering experience.
Location: Markham, Ontario
