Home oxygen, done differently
Most people think of home oxygen as equipment that gets dropped off at the door. We think of it as the thing that gets a grandfather back to his grandson's hockey games, lets a retired teacher keep her Tuesday walking group, and helps a family sleep through the night without worrying. At Peak Oxygen, we built a home oxygen company around that idea. We are clinician-led, locally rooted, and focused on the person at the other end of the tubing.
We're growing across Southern Alberta, and we need a Respiratory Therapist to lead our clinical team as we grow. This role is for someone who wants to shape a program, not just keep one running.
The role
As our RT Manager, you'll set the clinical standard for how Peak Oxygen cares for patients. You'll lead and mentor a team of respiratory therapists and make sure every assessment, setup, and follow-up is safe, thorough, and personal. When you see a better way to handle a workflow, a patient education process, or a hand-off with a referring physician, you'll have the authority to make that change and the support to see it through.
You'll also be the clinical face of Peak Oxygen to the wider healthcare community. That means building strong relationships with physicians, respiratory clinics, hospitals, and community care partners so referrals move smoothly and patients never fall through the cracks. Internally, you'll work closely with operations and administration so patients and families feel supported and heard at every step.
Quality and safety will be part of your everyday work. You'll keep our practices current and compliant, track the measures that matter, and create a culture where your team keeps learning, asks questions, and improves.
