Here we grow!
Want to build high-performance software systems in one of the most complex and specialized industries in the world? We are a founder-led, product-driven software company powering innovation in the semiconductor industry. Our software enables chip manufacturers and equipment providers to reduce time-to-market, improve yield, and optimize manufacturing processes.
We are seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our Product Engineering Team and help create the next generation of high-performance, data-intensive applications used in semiconductor manufacturing equipment integration and factory automation systems.
You'll have the opportunity to deepen your expertise in a highly specialized industry while expanding your influence across architecture, platform development, and technical leadership. The software you build won't be used once and shelved. You'll contribute to a shared platform that evolves over years and delivers value across customers, products, and future releases.
What You’ll Do
As a Senior Software Developer, you'll help shape a shared product platform used by customers around the world. Working alongside Product Management, Engineering leaders, and fellow developers, you'll solve complex technical challenges while creating durable capabilities that deliver long-term value.
In this role, you will:
- Design and develop high-performance software that powers semiconductor manufacturing and factory automation systems around the world.
- Build and evolve a shared product platform, creating reusable capabilities that deliver value across customers, products, and future releases.
- Contribute to platform architecture and technical direction, helping shape the evolution of products used across customers, releases, and engineering teams.
- Tackle complex distributed systems challenges, designing software that performs reliably in demanding, multi-component production environments.
- Partner with Product Management, Engineering leaders, and fellow developers to transform customer needs into durable product capabilities.
- Raise the quality bar through thoughtful design, strong engineering practices, and a commitment to building software that lasts.
- Mentor and support other developers through collaboration, design discussions, and knowledge sharing.
- Leverage modern development tools, including AI-assisted technologies, to improve productivity and accelerate delivery.
What you Bring
You are a thoughtful software engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and building solutions that stand the test of time. You combine strong technical depth with sound judgment, balancing immediate business needs with product and platform goals.
We're looking for a team member accomplished in these areas:
- Completed a Bachelor's degree in a STEM field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years developing production software using C# and .NET, including 2-3+ years of experience with modern .NET (.NET 5+) in complex, multi-platform environments (e.g., Windows and Linux).
- Track record of designing and delivering high-quality, scalable software in complex, performance-sensitive environments.
- Dedicated 3+ years of experience designing distributed systems, APIs, and service-based architectures.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn customer and business needs into practical technical solutions.
- Values engineering excellence through thoughtful design, testing, code review, continuous improvement, and a product-minded approach to building reusable, long-term solutions.
- Demonstrates technical leadership through influence, mentorship, and the adoption of modern development practices and tools, including AI-assisted technologies.
Nice to Have
- Experience working in semiconductor, factory automation, or other complex industrial software environments.
- Experience contributing to platform architectures, extensible frameworks, or reusable software products.
- Familiarity with cloud or container technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes) and modern software delivery practices such as CI/CD and automated testing.
- Familiarity with secure software development and software supply chain practices.
- Experience with industrial protocols such as SECS/GEM, OPC, MQTT or similar technologies.
- Experience optimizing distributed or data-intensive systems for performance and scalability.
This is an active opening on our team.
