Your goal as Junior Video Editor is to support the production of compelling, platform-specific video content that engages audiences and drives customer growth. This is an in-person, entry-level role that primarily supports our paid channels, with a focus on speed, scale, and performance in service of our revenue goals.
The Responsibilities:
- Assist in editing and assembling on-brand video content, including support on story-driven ads, paid and organic content.
- Contribute creative ideas and formats, informed by social, cultural, and platform-specific trends.
- Support optimization of video content across our paid ad channels, with opportunities to contribute to social media, website, and other content channels.
- Create rough cuts and revise based on feedback from the Senior Videographer and broader team.
- Select and organize raw footage, audio, graphics, and other assets into cohesive edits.
- Apply basic color correction, sound mixing, and post-production techniques under guidance.
- Help maintain consistency with brand voice and visual identity across video output.
- Support multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Opportunity to support on location shoots.
- Stay curious about new editing tools, platform updates, and video best practices.
Qualifications
- Some editing experience (coursework, personal projects, internships, or freelance) with a portfolio or reel showing storytelling potential and execution.
- Working knowledge of at least one industry-standard editing tool (Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci, CapCut).
- Exposure to editing for platforms such as Meta, TikTok, or YouTube, with an interest in learning platform-specific formats and optimization.
- Basic familiarity with video performance metrics is a plus, not required.
- Foundational knowledge of audio editing, color correction, or graphics - eagerness to build these skills further.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Comfortable capturing content with basic video gear/iPhone.
- Has a pulse on social media trends
- Organized, eager to learn, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, in-person environment.

Salary Range:
Annual - $47,000-$55,000 CAD
