The Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for the hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of plant equipment to help keep our manufacturing operations running safely and reliably.
Working closely with the Maintenance Lead Hand, Engineering, and Production teams, you’ll respond to equipment issues, complete scheduled maintenance and inspections, and support equipment installations and improvements.
This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone with strong mechanical aptitude and practical troubleshooting skills. Your background may be in millwrighting, electrical, industrial maintenance, or another related skilled trade - we’re interested in the experience and capability you bring to the floor.
What You’ll Do
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair plant equipment to support production uptime and equipment reliability
- Complete preventive maintenance, inspections, and assigned maintenance work
- Operate a variety of tools and equipment, including hand and power tools, welding equipment, gauges, meters, forklifts, skid steers, cranes, and lifting devices
- Assist with the installation, calibration, and testing of equipment
- Identify and communicate recurring equipment issues, safety concerns, and opportunities for improvement
- Work collaboratively with Maintenance, Engineering, and Production to troubleshoot equipment and process-related issues
- Accurately document maintenance activities and completed work in our maintenance tracking system (Fiix)
- Follow established safety procedures, safe work practices, and PPE requirements
- Support prototype and fixture work as required
- Contribute to a clean, organized, and safe work environment throughout the facility
What You Bring
- Previous experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing maintenance, millwrighting, electrical work, or a related skilled trade
- Strong mechanical aptitude and practical troubleshooting skills
- Experience working with industrial machinery, tools, and equipment
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and/or related industrial systems
- Ability to diagnose problems, identify root causes, and complete effective repairs
- Ability to follow work orders, maintenance procedures, and established priorities
- Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively
- Good communication, organization, and documentation skills
- A flexible, hands-on approach and willingness to take on a variety of maintenance work
