Material Handler / Forklift Operator
Work Location: Onsite – 100%
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday–Friday
Overtime: Available, not mandatory
Interview: 1 onsite round
Position Summary
Responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials between the warehouse and production areas. Duties include receiving, picking, packing, kitting, staging, replenishment, inventory control, and material delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, kit, stage, and replenish materials.
- Receive, unload, put away, and organize inbound freight.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits.
- Use RF scanners and SAP for inventory transactions.
- Operate Reach Truck, pallet jack, and other material-handling equipment.
- Transport materials to production lines and remove finished goods.
- Load and unload shipments safely.
- Follow FIFO, 5S, Lean, PPE, and EHS requirements.
- Report material shortages, damage, and safety concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required.
- Reach Truck/Forklift certification is an asset, not required.
- 1–3 years of warehouse, logistics, or material handling experience preferred.
- SAP experience preferred.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs. frequently and stand for extended periods.
- Strong communication, teamwork, reliability, and safety awareness.
