About the Role
We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing team and lead recruitment across the FH Health portfolio. This is a hands-on, full-cycle recruitment role with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on how we build our teams. You’ll work closely with Hiring Managers and senior leaders to understand their needs, develop creative sourcing strategies, identify exceptional talent, and guide candidates through a thoughtful and engaging hiring process.
The ideal candidate is a confident recruiter who can move comfortably between specialized healthcare recruitment and corporate/operational hiring, understands the talent market, and knows how to build relationships with both active and passive candidates.

What You’ll Do
Full-Cycle Recruitment
- Own the recruitment process from intake through offer and onboarding across a diverse portfolio of clinical, corporate, and operational roles.
- Partner with Hiring Managers and leadership to understand business needs, define candidate profiles, and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Recruit for a range of positions, including physicians, nurses, embryologists, medical administrative professionals, and corporate/operations roles.
- Conduct candidate screening, introductory interviews, and assessments to evaluate experience, skills, and cultural alignment.
- Coordinate interviews and ensure a seamless and timely process for both candidates and Hiring Managers.
- Lead offer discussions, compensation conversations, references, and pre-employment requirements.
- Maintain strong relationships with candidates throughout the process, ensuring a professional and engaging candidate experience.
Sourcing & Talent Pipelines
- Develop creative sourcing strategies to identify both active and passive candidates.
- Leverage LinkedIn, professional networks, industry associations, referrals, and other sourcing channels to build strong talent pipelines.
- Develop relationships with healthcare professionals and build networks across Canada.
- Identify emerging talent needs and proactively build pipelines for future hiring.
- Stay informed on healthcare talent trends, compensation expectations, and competitive hiring activity in the market.
Healthcare Recruitment & Compliance
- Support the recruitment of regulated healthcare professionals and ensure appropriate credential and registration requirements are addressed throughout the hiring process.
- Coordinate reference checks, background checks, professional registrations, and other pre-employment requirements.
- Ensure recruitment practices are consistent with applicable Ontario legislation, including the Human Rights Code, AODA, and privacy requirements.
Recruitment Operations & Employer Brand
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment information.
- Track and report on key recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, pipeline activity, and hiring outcomes.
- Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes and the overall candidate experience.
- Help strengthen FH Health's employer brand and position our healthcare businesses as employers of choice.
- Support the development of compelling job postings, recruitment materials, and talent outreach campaigns.
- Continuously look for ways to make the hiring process more efficient, consistent, and candidate-focused.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience, ideally within healthcare, professional services, technology, startups, or another fast-paced environment.
- Experience recruiting clinical and/or regulated healthcare professionals is highly valued.
- Strong knowledge of the talent market and an understanding of the healthcare landscape across Canada.
- Proven ability to source and engage passive candidates.
- Experience managing multiple requisitions and priorities while maintaining a high level of candidate and Hiring Manager service.
- Strong interviewing, relationship-building, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Comfortable working independently while partnering closely with leaders and teams across the organization.
- A proactive, resourceful, and solutions-oriented approach.
- Genuine interest in healthcare, technology, and building great teams.
