About Phoenix
Founded in 2019, Phoenix is building the most trusted telehealth platform in Canada, making specialist healthcare accessible to every Canadian, wherever they are. Our platform breaks down barriers to care, empowering patients to take control of their health with personalized treatment options and the guidance of licensed providers.
If you thrive where big ideas turn into real impact, you'll fit right in here. We're a team of creative problem-solvers who move deliberately and collaborate in person, because we think the best work happens that way. At Phoenix, you'll find autonomy over your work, people who care about each other's success, and a mission that's making healthcare better for Canadians.
About the Role
We are looking for a remote Bilingual Nurse Practitioner to join the team. We’re setting the bar for asynchronous telemedicine to deliver a better experience for both patients and healthcare providers.
What You’ll Do
Deliver Virtual Care with Impact: Review patient-submitted medical histories through our intelligent, graded online platform and determine candidacy for treatment. Most consultations take under 5 minutes to complete.
Support and Prescribe: If appropriate, issue prescriptions. If more information is needed, communicate directly with patients via our secure messaging platform.
Collaborate Onsite with a Multidisciplinary Team: You’ll play a pivotal role in helping refine clinical workflows, ensuring we’re delivering seamless, high-quality care at scale.
Improve Patient & Provider Experience: Work closely with our Customer Experience, Product, and Engineering teams to identify friction points and co-design solutions that elevate healthcare delivery.
Lend Your Clinical Expertise to Innovation: Contribute to new product launches and protocols as Phoenix expands into new conditions and offerings.
What We Treat Today
Our current focus includes health conditions such as:
Erectile dysfunction
Hair loss
Weight loss
Premature ejaculation
Testosterone therapy
Who You Are
Bilingual in French and English
Registered in good standing with the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec (OIIQ), with eligibility for licensure in additional Canadian provinces (support available for the licensing process if needed)
Technologically savvy with experience or comfort in digital care platforms.
Excellent communicator who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Able to respond to patient needs in a timely and empathetic manner.
Passionate about improving the Canadian healthcare landscape.
Curious, innovative, and excited to work cross-functionally with non-clinical teams.
Previous experience in men’s health is a plus, but not required.
Why this opportunity is exciting
Flexible Clinical Work: Patients are privately billed, no insurance paperwork or complex billing systems. The asynchronous nature of our platform means no live appointments with patients via video or phone call.
Seamless Technology: Our asynchronous platform was built by engineers who deeply understand provider pain points. It’s designed to support, not slow you down.
Innovate at the Frontlines: Your clinical voice will directly inform how we build, improve, and expand our services.
No Additional Coverage Needed: You’re already covered through your existing CMPA or equivalent malpractice coverage.
Why Work at Phoenix?
A Rewarding Mission: Through our asynchronous care model, Phoenix is reimagining patient-centric care for Canadians across the country by making diagnoses and treatment delivery faster, more accessible, and completely discreet.
Impact & Autonomy: You’ll work directly with passionate, experienced leaders who’ve seen the ups and downs of building a business and genuinely care about your growth. You won’t just execute - you’ll help shape the future of Phoenix and Raven.
Collaborative On-Site Culture: Our Operations, Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams work together on-site from our downtown Toronto HQ. We thrive on quick feedback loops, spontaneous brainstorms, and actually knowing the people we work with. Bonus points if you're into the occasional foosball tournament or have strong opinions about the best lunch spot nearby.
Clinical Excellence: All Phoenix & Raven telehealth clinicians work remotely, providing the highest quality care for even the most sensitive of health topics. Medications are delivered directly (and discreetly) to patients via our pharmacy warehouses, where our diligent Pharmacy team packages each treatment with care.
Competitive Pay, Real Benefits: Our compensation bands are backed by real market data, so offers are competitive and fair. Our benefits package includes standard healthcare coverage, a remote-first holiday season, and holistic wellbeing support for when life just happens.
