THE OPPORTUNITY
- Inspect product, packages and dates codes , and remove any defects as per quality standards
- Pack product into boxes, scale and print/ apply labels
- Palletize finished product onto skids, wrap skids and move to the staging area
- Complete all required production paperwork with accuracy
- Ensure work area is clean at all times
- Clean and sanitize production rooms and prepare the work area for the following day
- Follow all prescribed SOPs, rotation schedules, HACCP, GMO and CCP procedures
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
THE REQUIREMENTS
- Able to work in a cold environment
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills are required
- Experience using computers
- Possess excellent manual dexterity
- Excellent attendance record
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Excellent communication skills; verbal and written
- Able to work independently and within a team
- Previous work experience in manufacturing is preferred
- Ability to work overtime based on production needs
