Role Description The Senior Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Oakville, ON, responsible for leading complex automation and packaging projects from initiation through completion. This role oversees project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation, ensuring deliverables are met on time, within scope, and within budget. The Senior Project Manager coordinates activities between engineering, manufacturing, logistics, and quality teams, while serving as the primary point of contact for clients and suppliers. Daily responsibilities include tracking project milestones, managing risks and issues, preparing status reports, and facilitating regular project meetings. The role also involves optimizing project workflows, improving expediting processes, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across Pineberry’s production and delivery operations.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in project management, including planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
- Strong expediting and Expeditor experience to ensure timely delivery of materials, components, and services across multiple projects.
- Hands-on experience with logistics management, including coordination of shipments, inventory, and supply chain partners.
- Proficiency in inspection processes, quality checks, and compliance with relevant industry standards.
- Relevant post-secondary education in engineering, business, operations, or a related field.
- Experience managing technical or manufacturing projects, ideally in automation, packaging, or industrial equipment.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams, resolve conflicts, and build productive relationships with clients and vendors.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills, with attention to detail and a focus on continuous improvement.
- Proficiency with project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, ERP systems, or similar platforms).
- Capacity to work on-site in Oakville, ON, with flexibility to visit suppliers or customer locations as required.
