PlateOS helps meal prep businesses and restaurants manage the work that happens after a customer decides to order: meal plans, subscriptions, changes, fulfillment, delivery, and customer support.
I built PlateOS while running my own food businesses in the GTA. It is a working product with a live Shopify app and early paying customers. Now I’m looking for a co-founder who wants to take ownership of sales and help turn what we’ve built into a growing company.
You would work directly with me to:
- Find and speak with restaurant and meal prep operators
- Run product demos and close customers
- Learn where PlateOS delivers the most value and sharpen our positioning
- Build a repeatable sales process, from outreach through onboarding
- Help shape the product using what customers tell us
I’m looking for someone who has sold B2B software or services to small businesses, ideally in food, hospitality, or commerce. You should be comfortable doing the early work yourself: reaching out, visiting operators, hearing objections, following up, and closing. I value curiosity about how these businesses actually run as much as a polished sales résumé.
This is a co-founder opportunity with a meaningful ownership stake subject to vesting. The equity amount, vesting terms, responsibilities, and cash compensation, if any, will be discussed openly and agreed in writing. I’d want us to work together and establish a strong fit before formalizing the partnership.
If this interests you, apply with a short note covering:
- Who you’ve sold to and what you were responsible for closing
- How you would get PlateOS its next 10 qualified demos
- Why you want to build a company in this market
You can learn more about the product at PlateOS.io.
