About the Opportunity:
Our client is a boutique advisory firm supporting business owners, entrepreneurs, and families with complex financial needs across private wealth management, tax and estate planning, insurance, and related advisory services.
We are looking for an Associate, Private Wealth to join their Toronto team. This is a hands-on analytical and operational role supporting both Private Wealth and Tax & Estate Planning, with an opportunity to develop deeper technical and client-facing responsibilities over time.
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with financial information, Excel models, documentation, and multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support financial modelling for tax and estate planning strategies, including Immediate Financing Arrangements (IFAs) and Tax Strategy.
- Prepare, review, and validate financial models, insurance illustrations, assumptions, and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with insurance carriers and external partners to obtain outstanding information and requirements.
- Support existing life insurance policy servicing and prepare related applications and documentation.
- Prepare and manage DocuSign packages, client documentation, case files, and records.
- Support new account openings, KYC documentation, transfers, funding, and ongoing account administration.
- Prepare client presentations, proposals, portfolio reporting, and supporting materials.
- Assist with investment analysis and modelling.
- Liaise with custodians, clients, insurance carriers, and other external partners to ensure requests are completed accurately and on time.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, trackers, templates, and documentation.
- Identify discrepancies, missing information, or questionable assumptions and escalate issues when appropriate.
- Take ownership of established workflows and contribute to improving internal processes and templates.
- Handle confidential client and financial information with a high level of discretion.
