Your role and key responsibilities
|
As a Automation & Technical Training Co-op you will support the development of innovative, hands-on training solutions. This role focuses on enhancing technical training environments through automation and design of hands-on learning experiences.
This position is in-person and located in the town of St. Thomas ON. This is a 4 month co-op position for a current student in a Canadian institution. |

What you bring to the team
|
Support the design and creation process of automation learning experiences.
Support the design and creation of automation training equipment.
Assist in curriculum and learning material creation.
Support the customization of learning paths according to shop floor roles.
Assist with project tracking, including communication with stakeholders, internal customers, and external providers. |

What makes you stand out
|
- Currently completing a bachelors degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Robotics or related field.
- Strong problem-solving and hands-on mindset
- Curious, creative, and eager to innovate
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Basic knowledge of Siemens PLC, Mechanical aptitude, vision systems & safety sensors
