Role Description The Territory Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in Brampton, ON, with a mix of on-site customer visits and some work-from-home flexibility. This role is responsible for managing and growing a defined territory by building strong relationships with existing customers, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting Linde’s industrial gas products, services, and solutions. On a day-to-day basis, the Territory Manager conducts sales calls and customer meetings, prepares proposals and quotes, negotiates contracts, and coordinates deliveries and service requirements with internal teams. The role includes monitoring market trends, analyzing territory performance, and developing strategic plans to achieve sales targets and profitability goals. The Territory Manager also collaborates closely with operations, customer service, and technical support to ensure a high-quality customer experience and adherence to safety and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in territory management, B2B sales, and account relationship building, with a focus on revenue growth and customer retention.
- Experience in industrial gases, manufacturing, engineering, or related technical industries, with the ability to understand product applications and customer processes.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities, including comfort interacting with stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems, sales reporting tools, and standard office software to manage pipelines, forecast results, and document activities.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to interpret data, identify opportunities, and develop territory plans.
- Self-directed work style with strong organizational and time-management capabilities, including managing travel within the territory.
- Commitment to safety, compliance, and ethical business practices in all customer and internal interactions.
- Post-secondary education in business, engineering, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory.
