Job Description – Floorhand (Entry-Level)
As a Floorhand, you’ll play a key role in rig operations while gaining valuable hands-on experience. You'll be responsible for a variety of physically demanding tasks on the rig, including:
- Operating manual tongs and slips to connect/disconnect tubulars
- Assisting in rig maintenance, cleaning, and organization
- Supporting the rig crew in daily drilling activities
- Participating in safety procedures and identifying potential hazards
- Attending training and development programs to enhance your skills
What We Need From You
- 2+ years of recent outdoor heavy labour experience (or oil rig experience preferred)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Able to pass drug and fitness assessments
- Physically fit – capable of lifting up to 75 lbs
- Commitment to safety and ability to follow detailed procedures
