The Shipper/Receiver is responsible for the accurate and timely movement of materials, equipment, and documentation to support shop operations and inventory control. This role performs shipping, receiving, inventory, and material-handling activities while maintaining safe work practices, organized storage areas, and accurate transaction records.

DAY IN THE LIFE:
- Coordinate shipping and receiving activities, including picking, packing, staging, loading, unloading, and preparing freight documentation
- Receive, inspect, verify, label, and distribute materials and equipment while identifying and escalating discrepancies or damage
- Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment in compliance with HSE and site requirements
- Process inventory transactions, maintain tracking records, replenish stock, and support cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure inventory accuracy
- Maintain organized, hazard-free work areas, communicate material status and priorities with stakeholders, and support overtime and oncall requirements as needed
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
- High school diploma or GED required; vocational or technical training in warehousing, logistics, or a related field is an asset
- 1-2 years of experience in warehouse, shipping & receiving, logistics, or material-handling operations
- Forklift certification (or the ability to obtain certification) and experience with inventory or warehouse management systems are assets
- Strong understanding of shipping, receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, and material flow processes, with the ability to verify documentation and resolve discrepancies
- Strong organizational, communication, and safety skills, with the ability to prioritize work, maintain accurate records, and collaborate effectively with warehouse, shop, yard, carrier, and office teams
