Data Engineer Consultant – Mississauga, ON | Hybrid
We’re looking for a senior Data Engineer with strong hands-on experience in:
- 8+ years of Data Engineering / Data Warehousing experience
- Strong SQL programming and performance tuning
- Snowflake – development, optimization, SnowSQL, Time Travel, metadata, data sharing
- Databricks & Apache Spark for large-scale data processing
- Python for data pipelines, automation, and data processing
- ETL/ELT pipeline development and cloud data platforms
- Data modeling – OLTP, OLAP, dimensional modeling, facts & dimensions
- Data mapping, source-to-target specifications, lineage, and transformation logic
- Cloud data migration and modernization
- Testing, reconciliation, production support, and performance tuning
- Experience with GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted development tools
Preferred: Banking/Financial Services experience and cloud, Snowflake, or Databricks certifications.
