The Dispatcher will, represent the Premium Line Transport division, you'll be the main point of contact between our drivers, dock staff and customers, making sure pickups and deliveries across the GTA run on time, every day.
Job Overview: We’re looking to hire a Dispatcher. In this role, you'll coordinate daily pickups and deliveries across the GTA, plan next-day routes, and serve as the key link between our drivers, dock staff and customers. The ideal candidate has previous dispatching experience, strong knowledge of GTA geography, and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Experience with TruckMate is an asset. This role is fully on‑site at our Brampton office with standard hours of 8:30-5:30 PM Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Dispatch drivers for pickups and deliveries across the GTA.
- Plan and set up routes for the next day.
- Respond to emails and phone calls from customers, drivers and internal teams.
- Stay in regular contact with drivers and dock staff to keep freight moving and solve problems as they come up.
- Enter loads and update records in TruckMate, and complete general data entry.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a dispatcher.
- Strong knowledge of GTA geography and routes.
- Clear, professional communication by phone and email.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
