Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Construction Renovation & Building Restoration Professional role based in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. The successful candidate should be able to perform most aspects of interior and exterior renovations, restoration and general building repairs, including:
- Drywall installation and repairs
- Plastering and patching
- Trim carpentry
- Painting
- Laminate and vinyl flooring installation
- Caulking and sealant work
- General renovation and building repair work
- Additional restoration and construction tasks as required
Daily responsibilities also include site preparation and cleanup.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:
- Has hands-on experience in construction, renovation or building restoration
- Is skilled and comfortable using construction hand tools and power tools
- Can work independently as well as part of a team
- Is willing to learn new skills and take on different types of work
- Is reliable, professional and able to work in occupied residential and commercial properties
- Is legally authorized to work in Canada and holds a valid work permit or other valid Canadian work authorization
- Currently resides within the Greater Toronto Area and is able to reliably travel to job sites throughout Toronto and the GTA
- Holds a valid driver's licence and has reliable transportation
- Is available Monday to Friday
- Is available for occasional after-hours and weekend emergency work when required
Compensation
Starting daily rate: $200/day
Daily rate with own pickup truck: $240/day
After-hours and weekend emergency work: $50/hour
Compensation may increase based on experience, capabilities and performance.
