Money Market Settlement & Confirmation Officer:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Money Market Settlement & Confirmation Officer for a 12 month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.
Money Market Settlement & Confirmation Officer - Job Description:
The Money Market Settlement & Confirmation Officer will manage the trade processing, exception management, discrepancy resolution, and customer service related to money market trades. This role requires a strong background in banking operations, particularly in settlements and clearing, alongside exceptional customer service skills.
Money Market Settlement & Confirmation Officer - Responsibilities:
- Verify and confirm money market transactions with counterparties to ensure accuracy and compliance with established protocols.
- Manage the settlement and clearing process for money market transactions, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Liaise with internal departments and external counterparties to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to transactions.
- Maintain accurate records of all confirmations and settlements for audit and reporting purposes.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Monitor and adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policies throughout the transaction process.
- Contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the confirmation and settlement operations.
Money Market Settlement & Confirmation Officer - Mandatory Skills:
- Ability to work 2 different shifts bi-weekly: 9:00-5:30 and 10:30-7 EST.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or similar area of study.
- 2-3 years of experience in a banking back office in a settlements or similar role.
- Multi-tasking, independent work, excellent customer service, and communication skills.
Money Market Settlement & Confirmation Officer – Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Familiarity with bank internal systems.
- Experience in process improvement initiatives.
- Accessible approach to tasks and communications.
Money Market Settlement & Confirmation Officer – Assignment Length:
This is a 12 month contract position.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This position is hybrid, requiring 2 days in the office and 3 days at home per week, with the possibility of moving to 4 days in the office in the future.
