On behalf of our Government Services client, Procom is searching for a Senior UX Designer - 3x for a 12 month contract role. This position is an onsite position at our client’s Toronto office.
Senior UX Designer - 3x - Job Description:
The Senior UX Designer will be responsible for creating intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for various digital projects. This role involves designing and iterating on product functionality to ensure an exceptional user experience. The candidate will engage in user research and testing to inform design decisions.
Senior UX Designer - 3x - Responsibilities:
- Create effective, user-friendly, and visually appealing interfaces.
- Design overall functionality of products and iterate based on user testing.
- Develop user interfaces for digital displays, publications, and media.
- Adopt a user-centered design approach with rapid testing and iteration.
- Conduct user research, interviews, and surveys, translating findings into sitemaps, user flows, and prototypes.
Senior UX Designer - 3x - Mandatory Skills:
- Relevant experience creating GUI designs based on user interaction and performance.
- Experience as a UX designer, interactive designer, UI designer, or similar role for web and mobile applications.
- Ability to define and lead UX projects and design workshops.
- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools like Figma and Canva.
- Demonstrated effectiveness in collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Senior UX Designer - 3x – Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Prior OPS/Public sector experience.
- Experience with Ontario Service Design.
- Experience with UI/UX processes such as wireframing and surveys.
- Knowledge of accessibility testing and WCAG 2.1 AA requirements.
- Experience with complex design challenges.
Senior UX Designer - 3x – Assignment Length:
This is a 12 month contract position.
Senior UX Designer - 3x - Start Date:
ASAP.
Senior UX Designer - 3x - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is an onsite position with five days required in the office.
