STRUCTURAL DESIGNER - CORRUGATED / POP
📍 Toronto | Full-Time | $60K–$100K
I’m currently recruiting for a Structural Designer with experience in corrugated packaging, POP displays or a related industrial design environment.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll take projects from concept and prototyping through production, working closely with customers, vendors and internal teams to bring designs to life.
What you’ll be doing
- Develop structural concepts, sketches, prototypes and working drawings
- Create and manage drawings, revisions, BOMs and technical documentation
- Work with corrugated, foam, wood and other display materials
- Support quoting, prototyping, production and first-article approvals
- Participate in design and production reviews and provide technical input
- Prepare drawings for dies, print plates and vendor components
- Work with CAD/CAD tables and maintain accurate project documentation
- Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective
What they’re looking for
• 3+ years of corrugated structural design, POP/display or related industrial experience
• Strong knowledge of corrugated grades and flutes, as well as foam
• Experience with ArtiosCAD and/or Esko cutting table software
- Strong computer skills; Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop experience is an asset
- Good understanding of packaging, shipping and manufacturability
