Role Description This part-time Leasing Specialist role is a hybrid position based in London, ON, with a combination of on-site work at managed properties and some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include engaging with prospective residents, conducting property tours, and clearly explaining lease terms and community policies. The Leasing Specialist will manage lease documentation, support lease administration processes, and help ensure accurate records and timely renewals. The role also focuses on resident retention through responsive customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns, and contributing to a welcoming, professional environment. This position works closely with the property management team to meet occupancy goals and uphold Prospera’s standards for resident experience.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and resident retention skills, with the ability to build positive, long-term resident relationships.
- Experience working with leases and lease administration, including drafting, reviewing, and organizing leasing documents.
- Clear, professional communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with residents, prospects, and team members.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and comfort with basic property management software or CRM tools.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment and reliably commute to properties in London, ON.
- Prior experience in residential leasing, real estate, or property management is an asset.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, real estate, or a related field is an advantage.
