Position Overview
ProxyLink is hiring an experienced Software Developer to support the development, enhancement, maintenance, and troubleshooting of enterprise web applications and learning management systems.
The ideal candidate brings strong experience with GeoTalent, .NET, Blazor, SQL Server, and enterprise application development, along with the ability to work collaboratively with technical teams and business stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
This is a senior-level development role requiring strong technical analysis, problem-solving, application design, development, testing, deployment, and production support capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate technical system specifications into working, tested applications.
- Develop detailed programming specifications and technical designs.
- Design, develop, test, debug, document, deploy, and maintain software applications.
- Build and enhance front-end web applications and back-end administrative functionality.
- Develop and maintain Learning Management System (LMS) features and modules.
- Work within the GeoTalent development environment, including TP Macro Language and TP environment.
- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot .NET enterprise applications.
- Design and implement loosely coupled components and n-tier application architectures.
- Develop database queries, stored procedures, views, scripts, and data models.
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and technical troubleshooting.
- Analyze and resolve technical issues arising during software implementation, migration, conversion, and ongoing operation.
- Perform technical analysis of application architecture and proposed solutions.
- Participate in application design and code walkthroughs.
- Collaborate with developers, IT professionals, project managers, business stakeholders, and subject matter experts.
- Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
- Provide post-implementation support and resolve technical issues.
- Prepare and maintain technical, user, and system documentation.
- Participate in knowledge-transfer activities, including documentation, one-on-one sessions, and team meetings.
- Ensure application quality, performance, security, accessibility, and maintainability.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 10+ years of software development and programming/analysis experience.
- 10+ years of experience working with GeoTalent, including the GeoTalent development environment, TP Macro Language, and TP environment.
- Experience using GeoTalent to develop both front-end web applications and back-end administrative console features.
- 8+ years of .NET development experience.
- Strong experience developing and supporting enterprise-level applications.
- Experience with database design, data modeling, SQL programming, queries, stored procedures, and views.
- Strong understanding of structured software development methodologies.
- Experience throughout the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Strong experience designing, coding, testing, debugging, deploying, and documenting applications.
