Landscape Design-Build Sales Representative - Owen Sound, ON
$80,000–$100,000 base | $100,000–$120,000 expected year one | Relocation assistance available
An established, growing landscape company in Ontario's Georgian Bay region is hiring a Sales Representative to lead residential clients through the design-build process from first call to signed contract.
What you'll do
- Qualify inbound design leads and run on-site consultations, uncovering real construction budgets
- Sell design proposals and collaborate with freelance designers on concept, construction, and planting plans
- Build accurate takeoffs and compelling written proposals priced to company margin targets
- Own the lead-to-sold process, collect deposits, keep the CRM current, and hand off cleanly to project management
- Cross-refer property care, dock, and snow services
What you need
- 3+ years in landscaping; 5 years in residential landscape construction preferred
- A proven residential design-build sales record (~$2M+ annually)
- Genuine horticultural knowledge - this one isn't negotiable. Strong salespeople without plant knowledge don't succeed in this role.
- Working familiarity with building code and municipal bylaws
- Comfort and credibility with affluent clients
