Design and build scalable automation tools and data collection systems, integrating with third-party APIs and bespoke data sources.
Develop and maintain internal platforms, services, and RESTful APIs that support intelligence analysis, publication, and distribution.
Contribute to systems that manage and present structured technical intelligence data.
Collaborate with service and product owners to improve interfaces and APIs, enabling seamless integration of intelligence into client-facing services.
Write clean, performant, reusable frontend and backend code both manually and using AI Agents.
Constructively review the work of your peers, reflecting critically on fit for user need as well as adherence to engineering best practices.
Contribute to internal documentation for both technical (DevOps, engineering) and non-technical (analyst, client) audiences.
Support the ongoing evolution of our platforms as we scale globally.

Essential Experience
Strong experience with Python in an API design context
Advanced knowledge of JavaScript and modern web technologies (HTML/CSS).
Experience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs.
Comfortable using AI tools like Cursor and Github Copilot
Ability to write performant, maintainable, and reusable UI components.
Experience working collaboratively within globally distributed teams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable Experience
TypeScript, React and Node.js advantageous.
Python frameworks for backend / API design (e.g., Flask, Falcon) and relational data modelling.
Experience owning full-stack applications across frontend, backend and database models.
Experience deploying and operating applications in cloud environments (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
Familiarity with modern development practices (CI/CD, containerisation, cloud-native architectures).

The salary range for this position is $84,700 - $134,700. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements.
