About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President, Finance to join our Executive Leadership Team. This is a unique opportunity for an accomplished finance executive to shape the financial direction of a growing organization while serving as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Board of Directors.
As our senior financial leader, you will oversee all aspects of corporate finance, accounting, treasury, governance, reporting, and compliance. You will play a critical role in driving financial performance, strengthening internal controls, supporting strategic growth initiatives, and ensuring the long-term financial sustainability of the organization.

What You'll Do
As the Vice President, Finance, you will:
Provide Strategic Financial Leadership
· Develop and execute the organization's long-term financial strategy aligned with business objectives.
· Serve as a key advisor to the CEO and Board on financial performance, risk, capital allocation, and strategic initiatives.
· Lead corporate treasury, liquidity planning, cash flow management, and capital structure optimization.
· Evaluate financial risks and develop strategies to protect and strengthen the business.
Lead Corporate Accounting & Financial Reporting
· Oversee the preparation and integrity of financial statements and statutory reporting.
· Establish and maintain accounting policies and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards.
· Ensure compliance with tax, regulatory, and audit requirements.
· Manage relationships with external auditors, financial institutions, and regulatory agencies.
· Provide executive oversight of month-end and year-end financial reporting processes.
Strengthen Financial Governance
· Use past experience to champion strong financial governance and internal control frameworks across the organization.
· Oversee ERP governance and ensure the integrity of enterprise financial data.
· Drive continuous improvement in financial systems, reporting, and business processes.
· Ensure financial reporting accurately reflects operational performance.
Drive Enterprise Performance
· Review consolidated budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.
· Evaluate the financial implications of operational decisions, including liquidity and covenant impacts.
· Present financial results, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and the Board.
Build High Performing Teams
· Lead, mentor, and develop a talented finance team.
· Partner closely with operational leaders to drive financial accountability across the organization.
· Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, continuous improvement, and disciplined decision-making.
What You'll Bring
Education & Professional Designations
· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
· CPA, CFA, or equivalent professional designation is required.
· MBA or other advanced degree is considered an asset.
Experience
· 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including at least five years in an leadership role in the construction industry.
· Demonstrated success leading finance functions within complex, multi-faceted organizations.
· Strong experience developing financial strategy, corporate governance, and enterprise reporting.
· Proven expertise in financial systems modernization, process improvement, and organizational transformation.
· Experience supporting executive leadership and Boards of Directors.
