The Role
Our organization is in an excellent position for continuous growth. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be working under the direction of the Accounting Manager. Your primary responsibilities will be completing full-cycle accounts payable.
Job Duties:
- Review, verify, and process vendor invoices
- Process weekly EFT accounts payable runs
- Maintain vendor files, including vendor setup and payment terms
- Respond to vendor inquiries and reconcile vendor statements
- Assist with month-end AP cutoff and accruals as needed
- Perform ad-hoc tasks and special projects as required
Requirements:
- Minimum two years accounts payable experience
- Good organizational, time management, and prioritizing skills
- Adept problem solver and an eye for detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with colleagues from different departments and restaurants
- Must have reliable access to transportation
- Onsite attendance during probational period; Hybrid (2-4 days a week onsite) afterwards
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
