Quad Pro Construction Inc. is currently seeking a highly experienced, proactive, and results-driven Senior Site Supervisor to lead field operations for our ICI and multi-unit residential construction projects across Ontario.
In this critical leadership role, you will be responsible for total on-site management from pre-construction mobilization through project closeout. You will ensure that all projects – typically ranging in value from $10M to $100M+ across sectors such as municipal facilities, education, recreational complexes, and commercial developments – are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and direct all daily field operations, trade contractors, and site staff
- Create detailed, short-term look-ahead schedules and organize subcontractors accordingly
- Monitor on-site crews for manpower and schedule adherence; provide strategies to mitigate delays
- Ensure compliance with all quality control standards
- Coordinate with municipal building inspectors and third-party testing agencies
- Oversee site logistics, material deliveries, staging, and equipment utilization
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers and Project Coordinators
- Integrate digital construction management platforms (Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and BuildingConnected, etc.) for real-time tracking, submittals, and schedule updates
- Manage final walkthroughs and punch list completion
- Track in-field changes accurately for reflection in the final as-built drawings
- Maintain daily site logs and photo documentation
- Strictly enforce all Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act regulations, COR® standards, company safety policies, and site-specific safety plans
- Conduct regular safety meetings, toolbox talks, and hazard assessments
- Ensure all environmental and municipal compliance measures are rigidly followed
- Act as the primary on-site representative interfacing with client project managers, municipal inspectors, and consultants
- Fulfill client-mandated project requirements, including adherence to environmental guidelines, social value commitments, and community stakeholder coordination
- Oversee subtrade contractors and field personnel to ensure all workmanship meets strict design specifications, architectural drawings, AODA and Ontario Building Code standards, etc.
- Implement rigorous quality control inspections and manage deficiency resolution swiftly.
- Maintain comprehensive daily logs, track labour hours, verify subcontractor progress, record site conditions and delays
- Support project closeout by coordinating inspections, occupancy requirements, and warranty handovers
- Interpret incomplete / developing design packages and coordinate civil, structural, architectural, and MEP trades while design details are still being finalized
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive, hands-on experience in ICI (Institutional, Commercial, Industrial) construction site supervision with projects ranging in value from $10M to $100M+
- Relevant degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering Technology, Building Sciences and Technology, etc.
- Current standard health and safety certifications (WHMIS, fall protection, standard first aid, health and safety awareness, etc.)
- Advanced ability to read and interpret complex architectural / structural / MEP drawings, specifications, and contracts
- Familiarity with modern construction management software (Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, etc.)
- Proven track record of successfully managing large multi-trade crews and subcontractors under tight deadlines and high-pressure environments
- Excellent communication, conflict-resolution, and organizational skills
- Valid Class G driver’s license

- Experience with a variety of contract types (stipulated price, design build models, project management, etc.)
- Occupied space / business-as-usual project delivery

- Department of Defence / military projects
- Projects with Indigenous inclusion requirements
- Experience with early trade package procurement
- Multi-phased logistical planning
- Experience leading projects across Ontario
- Experience with projects requiring security zoning and personnel clearance (DOS, FSC, Reliability, Secret II)
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $110,000 – $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience
