Qualicare Calgary has immediate opening for a HCA in RED DEER
This position is ongoing and includes day shifts; 5 hours per day, as well as some overnight and 24 hour "live in" shifts. The successful applicant must be available for both. We are looking to fill this position asap. Experience with clients that have complex needs is desired.

Job Summary
As an HCA , you'll be an important member of our home care team, working closely with our Care Coordinators to provide personalized care that helps clients live safely, comfortably, and independently in their own homes. Every visit is an opportunity to brighten someone's day and make a lasting difference.
Responsibilities
- Assistance with personal care and hygiene
- Meal Preparation
- Light Housekeeping
- Accompany clients on outings
- Shopping and errands
- Medication Assist/ Reminders
- Ambulation and transporting of clients
- Provide companionship to clients
- Ability to follow Care-plan
- Documentation/Charting
Qualifications

HCA certificate AND Registered with CLHA (or in process)

Fluent in English both verbal and written
- Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain
- Access to Internet/Mobile phone
