Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Full-Time Permanent NetSuite Bookkeeper to manage our day-to-day financial operations and maintain accurate ledgers within our NetSuite ERP environment. In this core role, you will be a vital part of our finance team, ensuring seamless transaction processing, precise reporting, and continuous financial organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Full-Cycle Bookkeeping: Manage day-to-day accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), cash applications, and general ledger entries within NetSuite.
- Reconciliations & Maintenance: Perform routine bank, credit card, and intercompany reconciliations; maintain an organized chart of accounts.
- NetSuite Operations: Leverage NetSuite modules for daily data entry, invoice generation, tracking fixed assets, and running standard financial reports.
- Month-End Support: Partner with the Controller or Finance Manager to execute month-end close procedures, prepare accruals, and post routine journal entries.
- Tax & Compliance: Assemble documentation and coordinate local compliance filings (such as GST/HST/PST remittances) and support annual audit preparations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 3+ years of dedicated full-cycle bookkeeping or corporate accounting experience.
- NetSuite Expertise: Demonstrated, hands-on working experience within Oracle NetSuite (navigating transaction forms, running searches, and managing entries).
- Software Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs) and familiarity with cloud-based ecosystem tools.
- Education: Post-secondary diploma/degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
