We are looking for an experienced CPA with Canadian public accounting experience to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare year-end files, financial statements, and corporate and personal tax returns.
- Perform and assist with audit and assurance engagements.
- Prepare accurate working papers that meet Canadian professional standards.
- Communicate with clients and respond to their questions and requests.
- Provide managers and partners with regular file updates.
- Complete review notes and follow up on outstanding information.
- Identify issues and recommend practical solutions.
- Work collaboratively with other team members.
Requirements
- Canadian CPA designation.
- At least four years of recent experience with a Canadian public accounting firm.
- Experience with year-end engagements, audits, assurance, and Canadian tax returns.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian accounting and assurance standards.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple files and meet deadlines.
- Commitment to accurate work and excellent client service.
Canadian public accounting firm experience is required.
