What is the opportunity?
The Finance Delivery Hub, a sub-function within the Finance COO mandate, seeks a project delivery lead to serve as a trusted partner driving end-to-end delivery and execution of strategic projects affecting financial, external and internal reporting, systems and processes. Working directly with Finance subject-matter experts, business leads and partners, you will ensure outcomes meet stakeholder expectations and are delivered within agreed timelines and budgets. This pivotal role supports the CFO's ambitious initiatives and strategic international business expansion, requiring coordination across multiple business areas and jurisdictions to reshape global Finance processes.
What will you do?
Lead and coordinate Finance delivery for strategic international business expansion and regulatory initiatives, ensuring alignment across Finance, Business and Technology stakeholders
Define and manage project scope, timelines, budgets and milestones while recommending governance models and actively managing risks and dependencies
Support ideation and provide recommendations to enable Business leadership to select optimal solutions based on data, scalability and regulatory requirements
Document Business requirements, validate with stakeholders, and collaborate with IT partners to develop Business cases, requirements documents and test strategies
Facilitate regular project updates, steering committee meetings and stakeholder communications, providing decision-oriented updates to CFO Operating Committee Sponsors
Identify and mitigate project delivery risks, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and meet stakeholder expectations
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have:
7+ years of hands-on Finance project management experience, including Finance systems, processes and both external and internal reporting
Demonstrated experience planning, executing and delivering large and medium-scale Finance projects, re-engineering activities and automation initiatives
Proven ability to develop Business cases, Business requirements documents, Test Strategies, Test Plans and benefits tracking documentation
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with demonstrated ability to articulate proposals confidently backed by facts and data
Proactive problem-solver with ability to challenge status quo and work independently with minimal supervision
Nice-to-have:
MBA, CPA, CFA or equivalent accounting or finance designation
Prior experience in a Financial Institution
Knowledge of Personal and Commercial Banking, Capital Markets, Wealth and Insurance value propositions
Leadership experience chairing steering committees and governance forums
Hands-on experience with TM1, Cognos, PeopleSoft and/ or FiBRS
