Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chiropractor role based in Whitby, ON. The Chiropractor will provide patient-centered chiropractic assessments, develop and deliver evidence-informed treatment plans, and document care in alignment with professional standards and clinic policies. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing musculoskeletal examinations, offering manual therapies and other appropriate modalities, educating patients on injury prevention and wellness strategies, and coordinating care with physiotherapists, naturopathic doctors, mental health professionals, and other team members. The Chiropractor will also contribute to patient follow-up, care plan adjustments, and interprofessional case discussions to support optimal outcomes. Participation in community outreach or clinic initiatives to promote holistic health may be part of the role.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited institution and current, good-standing licensure (or eligibility for licensure) with the appropriate provincial regulatory body in Ontario.
- Demonstrated clinical skills in musculoskeletal assessment, manual therapy techniques, treatment planning, and patient education for diverse populations.
- Experience or strong interest in working within a multidisciplinary, holistic care environment alongside physiotherapy, naturopathic medicine, mental health, massage therapy, and osteopathy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust, explain clinical findings clearly, and collaborate with patients and colleagues.
- Commitment to evidence-informed practice, ongoing professional development, and maintaining accurate, timely clinical documentation.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities to manage caseloads, follow-up care, and contribute to clinic operations.
- Comfort working with diverse communities and a respectful, inclusive approach to patient care.
- Previous experience in a private clinic or multidisciplinary setting is an asset, as is familiarity with electronic health records and basic practice management systems.
