We are seeking a Junior Technology Logistics Support Associate to provide day-to-day IT support within a Distribution Center (DC) or Fulfillment Center (FC) environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, supporting end users, maintaining IT equipment, monitoring data center infrastructure, and ensuring smooth technology operations.
This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, customer service abilities, and the capability to work closely with operations teams, internal IT departments, and third-party vendors to resolve technical issues promptly.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide daily technical support for IT equipment, systems, and applications within logistics and warehouse operations.
Serve as the first point of contact for IT-related incidents and service requests from DC and FC employees.
Troubleshoot and resolve Level 1 and Level 2 hardware, software, and connectivity issues through walk-up support and ticketing systems.
Install, configure, maintain, and deploy IT equipment and technology systems.
Provide support for Microsoft Windows 10/11 operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications.
Monitor data center alarms and coordinate maintenance activities with vendors and global technology support teams.
Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, including Wi-Fi and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments.
Provide first-level support for office printers, peripherals, and other end-user devices.
Escalate complex technical issues to appropriate support teams and subject matter experts.
Maintain accurate IT asset inventories, track equipment assignments, and support hardware lifecycle management.
Coordinate with warehouse operations, internal technology teams, and third-party vendors to ensure timely issue resolution.
Assist with planned system outages, infrastructure upgrades, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Document incidents, troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and asset updates in the appropriate systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Experience providing IT support, desktop support, help desk support, or technical support.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 applications.
Understanding of computer hardware, software installation, and peripheral troubleshooting.
Familiarity with ticketing systems and incident management processes.
Basic knowledge of networking concepts, Wi-Fi connectivity, and VDI environments.
Ability to troubleshoot printers, workstations, and other IT equipment.
Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to coordinate with technical teams, vendors, and business operations.
Good documentation, organizational, and IT asset management skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced distribution center or fulfillment center environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience supporting warehouse, distribution center, fulfillment center, or logistics operations.
- Exposure to data center monitoring, infrastructure alarms, and vendor coordination.
- Familiarity with ITIL-based incident management and service request processes.
- Experience with hardware deployment, equipment inventory, and IT asset lifecycle management.
