What you'll do
- Respond
to service calls, including troubleshooting, diagnostics, and resolving system
issues
- Perform
preventive and corrective maintenance under service contracts
- Calibrate
gas detection sensors
- Participate
in project commissioning activities
- Program
controllers and control systems
- Configure
and integrate network communications
- Provide
technical support and advice to clients
- Apply
building automation and control best practices while ensuring compliance with
health and safety standards and industry best practices
Must have
- College diploma (DEC) in Building Mechanics,
Industrial Electronics, Computerized Systems, Electrical Engineering, or
another related field; an equivalent combination of education and relevant
experience will also be considered
Your Skills
- Programming skills
- Knowledge of text-based programming languages
(BASIC, C++, GCL)
- Strong ability to work independently and
effectively organize workload and priorities
- Customer service oriented with a collaborative
approach
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications
- Intermediate proficiency in both French and
English, spoken and written, with the ability to interact regularly with
English-speaking stakeholders, including suppliers, colleagues, and business
partners
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prepare and write technical notes and
documentation
- Construction Health and Safety Certification
(General Health and Safety on Construction Sites)
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence

- Relevant related work experience
- Knowledge of HVAC systems (Heating, Ventilation,
and Air Conditioning)
- Knowledge of Delta Controls products
- Knowledge of computer and telecommunications
networks
