In this role, you will serve as the engine of product delivery translating strategic visions and
domain insights into crisp, actionable technical requirements for our engineering team. You will
operate within a tight-knit core product squad alongside a Product Manager, a Rapid
Prototype Designer, and a dedicated Subject Matter Expert (SME). While the Product
Manager sets the overarching roadmap and strategic vision, you will own the day-to-day
product backlog, sprint execution, feature clarity, and delivery quality to ensure the
development team builds software that aligns precisely with business goals and user
workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Backlog Management & Requirement Definition
Translate strategic roadmap items from the Product Manager and domain insights from
the SME into clear, detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and workflow diagrams.
Build, groom, and prioritize the product backlog continuously to maintain a healthy queue
of ready-to-work items for engineering.
- Development Team Interface & Execution
Serve as the primary, day-to-day point of contact for the engineering team, answering
functional questions promptly to maintain dev velocity.
Facilitate or participate in core Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint
planning, daily standups, and sprint reviews.
Unblock development roadblocks by clarifying edge cases, defining validation rules, and
making pragmatic tactical trade-offs in real time.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration & Quality Assurance
Partner closely with the Rapid Prototype Designer to ensure user stories align with
visual prototypes and design specs prior to sprint commitment.
Review completed software builds against acceptance criteria to ensure delivered
functionality matches design specifications and strategic intent.
Collaborate with the Product Manager to communicate sprint progress, evaluate scope
trade-offs, and surface risks early.
Qualifications & Experience

precise acceptance criteria (e.g., Given-When-Then / Gherkin format), and managing
backlogs in tools like Jira, Aha!, etc.
Technical & Design Literacy: Strong ability to interpret UI/UX design prototypes,
flowcharts, and schema diagrams, translating them into technical implementation stories.
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; comfortable
bridging the gap between business/SME domain concepts and technical engineering
details.
Problem-Solving: Proven track record of operating effectively within tactical problem
spaces, making sound trade-off decisions, and keeping engineering teams focused and
productive
