Why Nipawin
If you are reading this from a city, here is the honest pitch.
Nipawin sits on the Saskatchewan River in North East Saskatchewan, surrounded by boreal forest and some of the best fishing water in the country. Tobin Lake is a short drive and draws anglers from across North America. Your commute is five minutes, and you can buy a house on one income rather than rent one on two.The town itself is a few thousand people, with a hospital, schools, an airport and a community that shows up for each other. Our store serves a trading area of about 25,000, so the pace is real and the work matters.
It is not for everyone, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. But if you have been trading quality of life for a paycheque that does not stretch, this is a genuine reset.
