Position Overview
The Team Lead reports directly to the Manager of Account Transfers and effectively assists in ensuring the established service level agreements of the department are met. The role works closely with other Team Leads across Richardson Wealth. The Lead will process complex account transfer requests and transfers forwarded by Management. The incumbent is the first point of contact for escalations brought forth by Team members, Branches, and other Operational Departments.

Key Accountabilities
- Signature guarantees transfer forms.
- 1st tier escalation for the Account Transfer Team.
- Responsible for training new employees.
- Effectively communicate in a team-oriented environment: function as liaison between Departments, Fidelity Clearing and external Financial Institutions.
- Escalate significant issues to Manager of Account Transfers.
- Supporting the different lines of the Account Transfer Team: Transfer Ins, Transfer Outs and Transitions/Migrations, both Aton and Non-Aton.
- Assists individual team members with competences to ensure accuracy of processing
- Oversees/processes corrections on account errors.
- Reviewing/Maintaining Standard Operating Procedures and looking for efficiencies within the Department
Qualifications
- Must have 5 + years of back-office experience in financial services
- Ability to prioritize issues
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Flexible work hours
- Demonstrate Leadership skills
- Positive attitude that will work with all different individual characteristics of team members
- Knowledge of CIRO policies and procedure
The expected annualized base salary range for this role is $62,400-$78,000.
The actual salary offered will take into consideration a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the individual’s skill, experience, education and training, and the consideration of internal equity.
