Are you a highly organized leader who wants to drive the daily success of our Whistler shop? We are looking for a Shop Lead to guide our local team, optimize our floor, and ensure every bike leaves looking perfect. About Us
RideWrap is a rider-owned and operated business. Since the beginning, our objective has been simple: help riders get the most out of their time riding bikes. RideWrap’s proprietary systems are born from combining a background in precision engineering with a love for riding bikes. We produce industry-leading frame protection components for all bikes and riders.
The Responsibilities
- Team & Floor Leadership: Oversee daily scheduling, production runs, and install quality. Lead daily stand-ups, train new crew members, and ensure the shop hits its output targets.
- Community Connection: Be the face of the Whistler shop for local riders, dealers, and events, bringing good vibes to the local bike scene up and down the sea-to-sky corridor.
- Shape the Product: Play a direct role in how our kits are made. You’ll spend time measuring the curves of physical bikes, giving our designers the exact ground-level details they need to build the perfect fit.
- Shop Optimization: Drive daily shop resets and equipment checks. Ensure installation bays, printing fleets, and warehouse areas remain tidy and fully operational to support smooth production and a premium customer experience.
About You
- The Stoke: Genuine passion for the mountain bike industry and knowledge of the Sea-to-Sky riding scene.
- Customer & Community Focused: 1+ years of customer service experience. You are approachable, communicate clearly, and can comfortably represent RideWrap at local events and with shop partners.
- Leadership: 1–2 years of experience supervising or leading a team, ideally in a retail, workshop, or fast-paced production environment. You know how to motivate a crew and manage a schedule.
- Operational Mindset: A high degree of organization, an eagle-eye for detail, and a drive to improve workflows.
- Tech Comfort: Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) and a willingness to learn how to operate and maintain our printing fleet (we will train you!).
- The Essentials: Excellent written and spoken English, plus a valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record for local shop runs and events.
