Call Taker to join the Dispatch Office. This entry-level role is responsible for answering incoming calls, answering emails to book taxi services through
riide’s advanced computer dispatch system.

Must be available to work evenings, overnight (11:30pm-8:00am), and weekends
Reports To:
Dispatch Manager
The responsibilities
The Call Taker Is Responsible To
- Support customer service excellence by answering incoming calls with professionalism and efficiency;
- Process requests through the advanced computer dispatch system with accuracy and following internal dispatch protocol;
- Positively interact with the Dispatch Office team;
- Proactively deescalate customer complaints.
- Transfer issues to the Dispatch Manager; and
- Other duties as directed.
The Requirements
To be successful as a call taker, you will possess:
- General knowledge of Saskatoon (key landmarks, road names, etc.);
- Strong computer technology skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly;
- Proven customer service skills;
- Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication;
- Ability to work as part of a team in an open office concept;
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as required; and
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
