Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic IT Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple large-scale technology initiatives across our organization. This role will play a critical part in modernizing our IT infrastructure, implementing new enterprise technologies, improving cybersecurity, optimizing business processes, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
The ideal candidate is a proven leader with extensive experience managing complex IT transformation projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing vendors, and communicating effectively with executive leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage technology projects through all phases of the project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, implementation, and closure.
- Ensure projects align with business objectives and corporate technology strategy.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, risks assessments, status reports, and project documentation.
- Coordinate project activities across business and technical teams to support successful delivery.
- Monitor project scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and key milestones.
- Facilitate project meetings and ensure action items are tracked and completed.
- Prepare project updates and communicate progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
- Support issue resolution and help identify mitigation strategies when project challenges arise.
- Build strong relationships with business and technology partners to ensure project objectives are understood and achieved.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and adoption of project management best practices.
- Support change management and transition activities associated with project implementations.
Technology Modernization
Lead and oversee technology initiatives such as:
- ERP implementation, upgrades and customization
- Microsoft 365 ecosystem enhancements
- Cloud migration projects (Azure/AWS)
- Cybersecurity improvements
- Infrastructure modernization
- Server and network upgrades
- Data center migration
- Enterprise software implementations
- CRM implementations
- Business Intelligence and reporting platforms
- Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity initiatives
- Identity and Access Management projects
- IT Service Management improvements
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- 4+ years of IT Project Management experience.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
- Process Mapping and Optimization
- Change Management in medium to large companies
- Lean Six Sigma certification is an asset
- Experience with digital transformation initiatives
- Experience implementing ERP or enterprise software solutions
