The Opportunity:
A premier manufacturer seeks a floor-first Quality Manager to lead their department, bridging QMS compliance with shop-floor production.
Key Responsibilities:
• QMS & Audits: Maintain and defend ISO 9001/AS9100 systems during customer and registrar audits.
• Floor Operations: Support FAI, calibration, and review complex blueprints and GD&T requirements.
• CAPA & Continuous Improvement: Lead root-cause investigations (8D, 5-Why) and manage supplier/customer non-conformances.
• Team Direction: Manage, develop, and provide direction to the shop-floor inspection team.
Qualifications:
- Proven Quality Management experience within a precision CNC machining environment.
- Direct ownership of ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 certified systems.
- Strong proficiency in reading blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.
