About Roam
Roam is Canada's leading long-term car rental and short-term leasing provider. Since launching in 2020, we've grown rapidly by filling the gap for people and businesses who need a car for 1 to 12 months, with month-to-month rentals and 6- and 12-month short-term leases. We also serve businesses through Roam for Business and offer fleet management. Our mission is to improve the way people access and own cars because we believe mobility is an essential part of modern life.
Roam is backed by investors including Mantella Venture Partners and Mistral Venture Partners. We're profitable, growing fast, and headquartered in Toronto, with operations across the GTA and the Ottawa area.
The automotive industry is undergoing a massive transformation, from electric and autonomous vehicles to entirely new mobility models like ours. It's an exciting time to be shaping the future of transportation in Canada.

The Role
We're hiring a Senior Growth Marketer to optimize Roam's digital channels, acquisition funnel, and customer lifecycle across rentals, leasing, Roam for Business, and fleet management.
This is a senior, hands-on individual contributor role reporting directly to leadership, with significant autonomy to find the highest-leverage opportunities and scale what works. You'll work closely with our Senior Content Marketer, who builds the content that feeds your channels.
Google, YouTube, Meta, TikTok, SEO, email, SMS, and LLMs (AI search and answer engines) matter most today, but any digital channel is open for experimentation.
In your first 6–12 months, success means more rental and leasing bookings, more Roam for Business leads, better acquisition economics, more use of our referral and loyalty program, and much better tracking and attribution, so we understand how the growth machine works and can scale it.
What You'll Do
- Own performance across our digital channels and all four business lines.
- Grow bookings and leads while improving CAC, conversion, payback, and lifetime value, allocating budget based on expected returns.
- Test audiences, offers, messaging, creative, and landing pages from first click to booking or lead, and scale what works.
- Build lifecycle programs across onboarding, retention, renewals, referrals, and loyalty, and grow use of our referral and loyalty program.
- Own tracking, attribution, and reporting so we know what's working and where to invest.
- Test emerging channels, including how Roam shows up in AI search.
- Use AI tools and build AI workflows that make our marketing execution and analysis faster and better. This is a major focus for the role.
- Brief and iterate on creative with our Senior Content Marketer, and partner with sales, operations, product, and engineering to improve conversion.
Who You Are
- You have 5+ years of performance or growth marketing experience, ideally including high-growth companies.
- You've done this before, and can point to measurable results you personally drove, such as lower CAC, higher conversion, more bookings or leads, or better retention.
- You've run paid search and paid social at meaningful spend, and have hands-on experience with several of YouTube, TikTok, SEO, email, SMS, and AI search.
- You know tracking and attribution deeply (analytics, tag management, conversion APIs, CRM integration) and have fixed broken measurement before.
- You're commercially minded and comfortable pulling and analyzing your own data.
- You've built lifecycle, referral, or loyalty programs that measurably improved retention or referrals.
- You have strong creative instincts and know how offers, messaging, and creative drive performance.
- You're high agency: you move fast and get things done without waiting for perfect information.
- You love to learn and readily take on challenges outside your experience and your role.
