We are supporting a well-established law firm in their search for a Corporate Commercial Lawyer (Edmonton).
About The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented corporate commercial with a minimum of 5+ years of experience to step into an established senior-level practice. If you are looking for a career growth and a path towards partnership, I encourage you to apply/reach out for a confidential conversation.
You will have the opportunity to practice in one or more of the following:
- Corporate/Commercial & Business Law - business sales and acquisitions, shareholder agreements, corporate reorganizations, and commercial contracts.
- Business Succession Planning - ownership transition, family and management buyouts, reorganizations, and long-term structuring for privately held businesses.
- Real Estate - ancillary transactions, land development, and commercial leasing.
- This is a real opportunity for a lawyer to take on an established practice, manage their own client and help shape the future of the firm.
The Ideal Candidate:
- 6+ years of experience in corporate/commercial, business succession planning or real estate law.
- Member in good standing with the Law Society of Alberta or equivalent Canadian accreditation.
- Juris Doctor or LLB degree from an accredited law school.
- A demonstrated ability to independently manage complex files and client relationships.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, and a genuine willingness to mentor junior lawyers.
