Role Description The Operations Assistant supports the smooth daily functioning of Roe Environmental’s consulting activities and office operations. This hybrid role is based in North Vancouver, BC, with a combination of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating schedules and project logistics, managing documentation and data entry, updating internal systems, and assisting with tracking project deliverables and timelines. The Operations Assistant communicates with internal team members and external partners, helps address routine inquiries, and supports customer service needs related to project coordination. The role also involves preparing basic reports, maintaining organized records, and contributing to continuous improvement of operational processes.

- Strong operations and operations management skills to support project coordination and office workflows.
- Analytical skills for organizing information, tracking project data, and assisting with basic reporting.
- Clear and professional communication skills for collaborating with team members and external stakeholders.
- Customer service experience to handle inquiries and support positive, professional interactions.
- Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook) and comfort learning new digital tools.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in environmental consulting, engineering, or related fields is an asset but not required.
- Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent experience in business administration, operations, or a related discipline.
